Tennis Courts
Cottonwood Heights Parks and Recreation Service Area has 13 tennis courts for use within its Service Area. Courts are available for use by both members and non-members. Tennis reservations may be made up to one week in advance, reservation windows pending. A wide variety of tennis lessons and events are offered through the Cottonwood Heights Recreation Center. Lessons, tournaments and leagues (through UTA) are available for the beginner to the advanced player.

- The Heights Casino, located in historic Brooklyn Heights, was founded in 1904 as a private, community squash, tennis and social club. Its membership stands at over 400 families. The club has long been identified as a New York City squash strong-hold, with facilities that include 6 international.

- Ultimate, Premium or Basic Member: No Charge for one court up to 2 hours daily per membership.
- Non-Member: $5.00 per hour

Reservations can be made year-round, but note that from October 1 through March 31, courts may be open but may or may not be maintained. Use at your own risk.
No refunds for any outdoor court reservation, but we will honor a transfer or credit if notice is given prior to the reservation start time.

For tennis players who have a competitive edge, youth, adult and senior leagues are available at various courts in Cottonwood Heights during the season, but are not ran or programmed by CHRC. For more information regarding leagues, visit utahtennis.com.

Pickleball Courts
Cottonwood Heights Parks and Recreation Service Area has six pickleball courts located at Butler Park, directly to the west of CHRC. Courts are available for use by both members and non-members. Court reservations may be made up to one week in advance, reservation windows pending.
Outdoor Adult Community Play Pickleball Hours
M-F, 7am-12pm, March-October, weather pending.
Outdoor Rental Rates
All pickleball courts can be reserved on a daily basis after 12pm, M-F, or any time Sat/Sun.
- Ultimate, Premium and Basic Members: No charge for one court, up to two hours daily per membership.
- Non-Members: $5/hr per court

In accordance with new safety precautions allowed by Gov. DeWine, the Cincinnati Recreation Commission will re-open their outdoor tennis and pickleball courts at 25 locations on May 29, 2020. The hours of operations will be from dawn to dusk.
CRC Director, Daniel Betts said, “CRC, with an abundance of care, has re-opened the outdoor Tennis and Pickleball courts. Just as with the rest of Ohio, CRC will only be gradually opening facilities under the guidance of state and local government recommendations and with the safety of our patrons and our staff as the major concern.”

The Cincinnati Recreation Commission offers tennis facilities throughout the city as well as programming options for all ability levels.
The Carl and Edyth Lindner Family Tennis Center at Lunken Playfield provides many tennis activities to match your needs, interest and skill level. Recognized as the 2003 National Public Facility of the Year by the USTA, Lunken is home to a city wide ladder league, 15 USTA Adult and Junior Tournaments including the Area Qualifier and the Met, weekly social events, camps and instruction and many other great tennis activities for the entire family.
National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) is a free program for individual children seven to fourteen years of age sponsored by the USTA Western & Southern Open Tournament Mason, OH (Tennis for Charity). Players with little to no experience are welcome.
